INTRODUCTION

It is s great opportunity to go to Tay Ninh to visit the Great Cao Dai Holy See, a place of pilgrimage for quite a few South Vietnamese people who are followers of Caodaism. In time for its noontide prayer service, you will join a peculiar but solemn ceremony with the congregation attired in lively red, yellow, blue and white and chanting religious hymns. Followed is a delicious lunch in Tay Ninh. Then return to Ho Chi Minh City, with a stop at the “underground village” in Cu Chi district, which was used by the guerillas during the Viet Nam War.

• Pick up at Saigontourist’s office (45 Le Thanh Ton, Dist.1) and other hotels in District 1
• Leave for Tay Ninh with stop at rice-paper making factory and rice field for some photos
• Visit the Cao Dai Holy See Temple
• Lunch at the local restaurant (without drinks)
• Depart for Cu Chi. Watch a short documentary of Cu Chi in the past. Visit the tunnels
• Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of service.
